Find My Tech ("we," "us," or "our") helps you discover nail and lash technicians near you. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the app, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

• Account identifier: When you first open the app, we create an anonymous account through Firebase Authentication. This gives your device a unique ID. We do not collect your name, email, or password to create this account. • Technician profile information: If you use the app as a technician, we collect the information you choose to provide — your display name, service specialty, starting price, bio, business or service location, optional Instagram handle, and the profile and portfolio photos you upload. • Location: If you use the app as a client and grant permission, we use your device's approximate location to sort technicians by distance. Your coordinates are stored only on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. • Saved and blocked lists: The technicians you save or block are stored only on your device.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information to operate and improve the app: to display technician listings, to let clients search and sort by location and service type, to show technician portfolios, and to maintain the safety of the service (for example, processing reports of objectionable content). We do not sell your personal information.

Third-Party Services

We use Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Cloud Storage) to provide core functionality such as sign-in, storing technician profiles, and hosting uploaded photos. Information processed through these services is handled according to Google's Privacy Policy, available at https://policies.google.com/privacy. We do not use third-party advertising networks.

How Your Information Is Stored & Secured

Technician profile data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore, and uploaded photos are stored in Google Cloud Storage. We rely on industry-standard safeguards provided by Google's infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention & Deletion

Technician profile data and photos remain available until the technician removes them or requests deletion. To request deletion of your data, email us at sinzzs04@gmail.com from the device or with details that allow us to identify your listing, and we will delete it. Locally stored data (saved lists, blocked lists, and client location) can be cleared at any time by deleting the app.

Children's Privacy

The app is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age required to consent in their jurisdiction. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will remove it.

Your Rights & Choices

You can control location access at any time in your device Settings. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by emailing sinzzs04@gmail.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
